THE FACTS4WORKERS CONSORTIUM HAS SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE FINAL TECHNICAL REVIEW IN BRUSSELS

On 7th and 8th November 2018 the international consortium of the FACTS4WORKERS project successfully passed the final evaluation from the side of the European Commission. This 4-year project covering the thematic field of the so-called smart factories is the successfully completed research project within Horizon 2020 Research Framework in which SiEVA participated. Taking over the dissemination activity within this project that brought together 15 partners from 8 countries is a great reference for SiEVA in the future.

The FACTS4WORKERS project focused on improvement of working conditions for shop floor workers in European factories of the future. The project’s partners developed advanced IT-based solutions to be deployed at 6 industrial pilot plants covering key European industries (automotive industry, steel industry, tooling industry, plastics). The project’s solutions improve the shop floor workers’ workplaces on a friendly way that is understandable to them and easy relatable, improving their autonomy on the shop floor.

Conclusion of FACTS4WORKERS presents for SiEVA a new milestone: a successful completion of our second Horizon 2020 development project. We strongly believe that strong references gained though these accomplishments will offer us new possibilities in participation in future European R&D consortia within Horizon 2020 and FP9 frameworks.
