A successful conclusion of the COMBILASER project
The project has – with important inputs from SiEVA Research Centre – successfully concluded the last validation processes real industrial environment for all industrial use-cases present in the project. The developed solutions vastly improve modern welding and cladding processes with their upgrade in a form of integration of monitoring and NDT technologies with a brand-new Self-Learning System. This enables zero-defect production process to come much closer to realization.
SiEVA’s participation in the COMBILASER project has proven enormously beneficial for the Development Centre. SiEVA gained new international R&D links, partnerships, and improved its references in the European R&D domain. This puts the SiEVA Research Centre in a good position for developing new ideas not just for the concluding H2020 projects initiatives but especially for the upcoming FP9 framework research program.
